Relief Counselors |
|
|
|
The primary
responsibility of the RC is to fill in as
direct care worker whenever a regular res-hab
or respite worker is unable to go to work as
scheduled. The RC is always on standby for
any emergency. The RC also supervises the
field activities of the assigned direct care
staff. In addition, the RC review daily
notes submitted by direct care staff and
write monthly report for assigned consumers.
When not in the field, may be assigned other
duties in the office.

Qualified Mental Retardation
Specialist (QMRP) |
|
|
|
The Qualified Mental Retardation Professional (QMRP) main job is to write Res-Hab
Plans that are consistent with the value outcome in the Individualized Service
Plan (ISP). The individual is responsible for ensuring that the direct care
workers accurately document the goal plans. Additional responsibilities include:
ensure that services are being delivered according to the OMRDD guidelines,
attending initial and case review meetings, maintaining up to date consumer
records.

Medicaid Service
Coordinators |
|
|
|
|
Medicaid Service Coordinators job is to advocate for the developmentally
disabled children and adults and ensure that they and their families have access
to the services and supports necessary to help them function in the community.
They arrange for an array of services, develop and maintain strong linkages
among the systems serving people with developmental disabilities and families,
advocacy efforts and individualizing service plans to meet the specific needs of
the consumers and families.Minimum Qualification Required:
At least Associate Degree
Basic Medicaid Service Coordination Certification by OMRDD
Good writing communication skills
Ability to advocate and represent consumers effectively
Some experience in case management or related field
